Texas here we come!

Welcome to Tuesday, where it's awfully dreary here. I have this sinking feeling that our Indian summer might have come and gone. Now it's time to face reality that fall is here, hello sweatshirts and Halloween decor. Our neighbors have done a fine job getting us all in the mood for Halloween! It's the ones that have busted out the Christmas lights that I'm worried about. Who puts up Christmas lights in October? I mean yes, they are for sale at some stores but that doesn't mean you have to put them out! I will save my rant for another time, another blog.

While going through my files to decide on today's posting I saw the work of Color Box Design & Letterpress, my day instantly got a bit brighter! Based out of Texas, Rhonda specializes in custom design invitations and paper goods. She has some amazing wedding invitations but I also found some great cards at her etsy site as well!

This first invitation is super cute and the color choices are very fresh. Plus you all know I'm a sucker for calligraphy and custom maps!

Okay I have a confession to make, I'm not a huge fan of purple. I think it's because my school colors in college were purple and gold, thus I had to wear a purple uniform. In any case, purple is not my thing but these invitations just might have changed my mind a bit because they look great!

This last custom design is a save the date and I wish I was on their guest list. The fonts are fabulous and the buttery yellow Italian paper I bet felt amazing! Did you catch the couple called themselves the tumbleweeds?
